Greetings from our Rector!
"Touching Others"
At the center of our life here at St. Andrew's Episcopal Church is the weekly celebration of the Resurrection. In corporate worship we unite ourselves with others to acknowledge the Holiness of God, to hear God's Word, to offer prayer and celebrate the Sacraments. At St. Andrew's, worship is the focus from which our programs and activities emanate with the Holy Eucharist at the center. This great act of thanksgiving and commitment informs, nourishes and directs all the other activities and encounters of our lives. It is in His Name, and love, that all of us, laity and clergy alike, learn to minister in our several vocations. St. Andrew's primary purpose is still to witness to, and to strengthen, Christian faith and commitment at Tuskegee University and the City of Tuskegee. You are invited to join us as we heed the words spoken by our Lord to our Patron, Saint Andrew: "Come, and follow me, and I will make you fishers of men!"
(Matthew 4:19)
In His Service,
Liston A. Garfield+
